Rules For Events
All The Scoring Club tournaments are open to golfers of all abilities however the following rules apply.

All players must have a valid CONGU handicap and provide proof on registration (Handicap certificates and or CDH number)

Maximum playing handicaps are 36.

Players of higher handicap can compete but will only receive the maximum allowance

Singles events: 95 % Full Handicap

Pairs/Team events: 90% Handicap

Any player without proof of a valid handicap, for example a Society player, can play in the event but are not eligible for top 5 prizes. They can compete for ancillary prizes such as Nearest Pin, Longest Drive, 2’s etc.

All prizes for each event will be clearly advertised on the day in the clubhouse as well as in the literature when a player signs up to an event.

The General rules of golf are applied to all events as stipulated by the games governing body the R&A.

Local rules will notified on the day. DMD devices are allowed as long as slope/wind functions are turned off.

In the event of a tie the result will be decided by CONGU 9,6,3,1 count back application.

The championship committee results on the day will be final.
