10th Annual Charity Golf Day 2019 Review

The 10th anniversary of the charity golf day took place at the beautiful Tyneside Golf Club on 29th May 2019.

This year we supported two amazing young people Eliza Gill & Olly Bultitude and thanks to the support of the 84 players in the field raised over £4000.00 which will massively affect their lives for the better. If you did not play in the golf day but would still like to support the causes it is not too late. Click the links below and you can donate directly .

Tyneside GC proved a great test on the day with the winning team messers Clues/Knox/Turnbull/Marshall amassing a huge 101 points in the 4-ball format with 2 to score. They took home the main team prize of a Stewart R1-S trolley and some Galvin Green apparel.

For those we have not played Tyneside GC it is a course that rewards accuracy and course management. Some great holes tucked into banks and over ravines create a real test of golf, with excellent all year round greens adding to the playability. Located on the Tyne Valley easily accessible from Newcastle it is a real hidden gem. Check out their website for offers on green fees and memberships: https://www.tynesidegolfclub.co.uk

For the first time teams used the Golf Genius software to monitor scores and the live leaderboard, a great addition to the day and now in play at all The Scoring Club events.

A big thanks goes to all of the golf clubs who donated 4-balls for use in the prize board, the generosity of the clubs is amazing and we will thank you all individually by letter.

Plans are underway for 2020 event and we will keep you informed!!

Best wishes Craig & Darrin
