Stewart Golf R1-S Push Review

Stewart Golf have always been known for their high end luxury power trollies, now they have entered the push market with the R1-S.

The R1-S sits at the top end of the pricing point for a push trolley, however, it oozes quality both in the design features and build quality. Designed, manufactured, built and shipped from their new state of the art UK factory, the trolley is ready straight out of the box; no assembly is required. The simple 2 step folding process allows quick set up from it’s ultra compact folded position. Each trolley is customisable with options of frame colour, wheels and finish. The push handle is height adjustable with soft feel grips and incorporates some neat storage including a drinks holder. Integrated scorecard holders, ball marker, ball holder and umbrella mounts are all located in the central area for easy access. Flip the centre console to reveal an accessory box, ideal for storage in inclement weather.

The R1-S comes with a range of add-on accessories if you wish to add to the standard model. Carry bag, umbrella strap, additional storage and drinks holders can all be purchased directly from Stewart. However, these are only optional extras to an already highly specced item.

The trolley takes all types of bag from tour to stand due to the easy-fix adjustable bag jaws and silicone straps. The item glides with ease on the course and with a handy foot brake, avoids rolling away when not required.

Ease of use, quality build and customisable styling gives the Stewart R1-S the edge in the push market. Long after the price is forgotten the quality will be remembered.
